Oval Park, June 2013: Kids playing soccer (fútbol). There are also official adult league games here most weekends, complete with referees. Also (American) football games, Pee Wee and other leagues. Sometimes high school football and soccer teams practice here and occasionally play games on this field. Baseball is played in other parks (for example, the Allerton Ball Fields), although originally it was played here too (see 1938 aerial photo, in which a baseball diamond is visible at the bottom of the athletic field).
