Former site of the The Bronx New School, PS51 on Van Cortlandt Avenue East near Grand Concourse. In 2011 it moved to East 182nd Street in Crotona near the Bronx Zoo [news]. Before the school occupied this building in 1994, it had been an auto repair shop and then a lamp factory.
