May 2021 ground was broken on the spot (approximately where the cars are)
for Bronx Point, a new waterfront complex that will include the new
60,000-square-foot Universal Hip Hop Museum, a million square feet of
affordable housing, an esplanade along the Harlem River, and a playground
and green space for public to use, displacing the current Mill Pond park.
