"One of the older buildings of the yard was a large three-story structure
with granite walls, which had become obsolete, and unsuitable for modern
shop purposes. This building was entirely reconstructed by removing the
second- and third-floor structures and reducing the height by one story, as
shown in figure J-7. The excess granite was reused in constructing a large
addition one one side."[1,p.85]
