Albuquerque Milne Stadium at 1200 Hazeldine Ave SE was built by the WPA in 1939[1,2,3,4].

In 1922 Lincoln High School was built and a rudimentary field was developed on site, called Lincoln Athletic Field. In 1939 the Works Progress Administration (WPA) upgraded the stadium and it was officially renamed 'Public Schools Stadium' later that year. It was renamed Milne stadium in 1957 upon the death of School Superintendent John Milne.[4]
