This shows that the New Deal was the add-on extension. Makes sense in a way, as it is relatively opulent inside with a lot of fancy marble. There are 5 works of art. They are chiseled into dark gray slate, maybe 2 or 3 inches thick, and are almost invisible, due to them being so dark. There are 4 about 4 foot by 2½ feet and one long one, about 6 feet by 2½ feet above doorways. I could see one was of a lady kneading bread or possibly washing clothes. The only way that I think these could be photographed would be to have some strong lighting on them. The building has two entrances, the PO on 26th street and the Customs side on 25th street. The blocks are very short, as the building isn't that big.The stone says:
