Central Park's Great Lawn, created by work relief forces (CWA, TERA, WPA) 1934-36, which to this day requires constant grass-cutting, tending of baseball diamonds, trash collection, upkeep, and maintenance, and therefore jobs that would not exist without the New Deal.
