The Carmine Street Pool: swimming pool at the Tony Dapolito Recreation Center (formerly the Carmine Street Recreation Center) in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. The pool was designed by Aymar Embury II and opened in 1939. The mural, from 1990, is by Keith Haring.
